TL;DR

• UK compression, day 5 — escalated to RED. For the first time in the month-long episode the slide converted into net visibility loss: ranked 342→334 (t20=ranked, so 8 terms left top-20 net), t3 stuck at month-low 137, t10 306→304. No aggregate rebound after five straight down-days; every prior episode reversed within 1–3.
• The 8 that fell out are not oscillators. bolton (#3→OUT, only out-day in 31d, avg 3.7), st albans (#4, 1/31), solihull (#9, 1/31), woking (#9, 1/31), tonbridge (#9, 1/31) all cliffed clean from top-5/top-10. A t3-cohort term crossing below rank 20 was my pre-committed RED trigger.
• Ruled out — again — technical, competitive, and global. Pages 200/clean canonical/no noindex through today (bolton live: ~280 profiles); vivastreet frozen #1 (1.1), nobody rising; UK-only (AT/DE/IT/BR all flat-to-up). The only UK-specific variable remains the Jul-28 Nuxt→Laravel cutover, and the slide still dates to the first data day after it.
• GSC (now on-box) prices the cost so far as real but modest: UK clicks ≈40k/day baseline → ≈38k post-cutover (−5%) through 08-03, with click-weighted position eroding 6.0→7.9. The worst rank days (08-04→06) haven't entered GSC yet (2-day lag) — the priced cost is a floor, not the full bill.
• Everything else quiet: IT vacuum-capture holding at period-high depth (t3 8, ranked 165); BR/AT/DE healthy; AU had a one-day wobble worth a glance, not a case.

What moved and why

UK compression — RED (confirmed real loss, likely replatform-caused). This is the fifth consecutive UK down-day and the first that breaks the "reshuffle, zero net loss" pattern that held through 08-04. Cohort dispersion 08-05→08-06: of 306 terms in top-10 yesterday, 298 still ≤20, 8 fell fully OUT; of 137 in top-3, 106 held, 29→4-10, 1→11-20, 1 (bolton) crossed OUT from #3. Net ranked −8 (12 out / 4 in) — above UK's normal ±4 churn. What makes this an event rather than churn is the composition: five of the eight are rock-stable heads whose only out-day in 31 is today. The daily rotation is intact (yesterday's cliffs central-london/rochdale/stratford bounced OUT→8/7/5), but the aggregate no longer recovers — the compression is now grinding stable heads off the board one cohort at a time.

Confidence: high that this is real UK-only visibility loss now (not the costless reshuffle of days 1–4); likely that the cause is the replatform via untracked dimensions (rendered internal links / structured data / TTFB), since on-page snapshots show nothing and the timing is exact. Ruled out: technical (snapshots + live fetch clean), competitor takeover (incumbents frozen — vivastreet 1.1, adultwork 4.0, kommons worsened to 4.5, skokka worsened to 10.1), and global algo (UK-only; AT t3 223 / DE t3 166 / IT / BR all flat-to-up today — a domain-wide or global event cannot be UK-only).

IT vacuum-capture — holding (the upside story). IT t3 8, ranked 165, t10 113 — at the period-high plateau. The escort-advisor.com migration collapse is complete (its competitor avg now 13.2→gone from the 7d column). The briefing's IT escort-city →OUT wall (escort roma/milano/messina/la spezia…) is the habitual tail oscillation (terms flap 7–18), not the capture reversing — t20 flat. No change to the standing rec: internal-link push on the rank 4–7 EA-vacated cities, bank before EA reconsolidates under .net.

Investigations

• UK aggregates 07-27→08-06 (SQL): trajectory t3 207→161→155→161→177→183→158→144→137→137; t10 held ~320s until 08-05 cracked to 306, now 304; ranked held 338–347 until today's 334. Confirmed day 5, no rebound.
• Cliffed-head stability (SQL, 31d): bolton/solihull/st-albans/tonbridge/woking each 1 out-day / 31 = today only; canary-wharf & luton 3/31; cardiff 4/31; female escorts 5/31; slough 8/31 (habitual). The five stable ones are the story.
• Technical (snapshots + live): bolton/st-albans/solihull/woking all 200, self-canonical, empty robots through the 08-06 snapshot; bolton live-fetched 200 with ~280 profiles. Not a break.
• GSC (/opt/gsc-monitor, /uk/ pages): baseline 07-18→28 ≈39.8k clicks/day; post-cutover 07-29→08-03 ≈37.9k (−5%); click-weighted position 6.0→7.9 (worst on 08-03). Data lags to 08-03, so the deepest rank days aren't priced yet — BJ should re-pull ~08-08 to catch them.
• Cross-market (SQL): AT ranked 442/t3 223 (up), DE 586/t3 166 (flat), IT 165/t3 8 (up), BR 108 (Δ30d +2.0), all healthy. Dead end for a shared-event hypothesis — UK is alone.
• AU one-day dip (briefly): AU ranked 134→130, t10 123→114, avg 5.9→6.5 in one day (Adelaide 7→OUT, Greystanes 4→OUT). AU is small and volatile with Δ30d flat; reads as one-day thin-set noise, not a front. Light note only.

Opportunities

• IT EA-vacated cities remain the single highest-ROI action on the board — striking-distance city pages (catania, palermo, perugia, firenze flapping 3↔6-7) that an internal-link lift would nail to top-3. Window still open but decaying as EA rebuilds under .net.

Recommendations (ordered by impact)

1. Diff the two platforms on 2–3 declining UK heads now (bolton, st-albans, central-london). Compare rendered internal-link count/anchors, structured data, and TTFB between the Nuxt archive and the live Laravel pages. This is the one untracked dimension left standing and the slide's timing points straight at it. This is the action that moves RED back toward amber.
2. Re-pull GSC for /uk/ on ~08-08 to price the 08-04→06 cliff days once the 2-day lag clears; watch the click floor and whether the 8 ejected heads lose impressions (real) vs merely rank (recoverable).
3. Fix sitemap hygiene (standing): /uk/sitemap.xml 301s to a 404; root sitemap still lists DMCA'd /manchester/ + /london/. Cheap, unrelated to the slide, worth clearing.
4. IT internal-link push on the rank 4–7 EA-vacated cities — bank the vacuum before EA reconsolidates.
5. IT monica30 404 (low): /it/escort/massaggi-erotici/italia/monica30/ still 404; 301 it to /it/escort/battipaglia/ as free insurance.
