TL;DR

What moved and why

IT — competitor "surge" is a mirage (ruled out, confirmed). The briefing flags bakecaincontrii.com improving 5.0→3.2 "on 319 kws." It ranks on 4 keywords a week ago and 6 today — the average is computed over the handful it actually appears on. This is exactly the competitor-avg denominator artifact on the watchlist. There is no IT-wide competitive pressure story here.

IT — genuine but soft thin-set dip (likely SERP churn). Ranked count stepped from 166 to 158, the largest one-day net drop (−8) in the window, though only just beyond the band's normal −5/−6. The OUT count itself (17) is ordinary IT churn. What caught my eye is that two pages that had been stable all month fell to OUT together — "escort a verona" (ranked 4–13 every day) and "escort cagliari" (6–16 every day). I fetched /it/escort/verona/: HTTP-healthy, indexable, no noindex, 251 listings — a real page, not thin or broken. So this is SERP-side volatility on an already-thin tracked set (half of IT's 330 is unranked), not a technical fault. The 07-07 IT dip (171→165) recovered within days; I expect the same. Confidence: likely churn, will bounce.

AT — boundary churn, not an event. AT shed 15 net ranked keywords (21 out / 6 in), the long AT OUT list in the briefing. Yet AT's average improved to 4.7 and all 434 ranked keywords sit inside the top-20. AT is so strong that its ranking wall is at ~position 20 — nothing ranks 21–100 — so any term that slips past 20 reads as "OUT." The dropouts were ~position-16 boundary terms; losing them mechanically lifts the average. Non-event.

AT — "sex graz" cannibalization, now actionable (confirmed). Day 3 stuck on the thin /at/sex/lend-graz/ child (12→10→13) after displacing the healthy Graz city page. The watchlist plan was "act if still on lend-graz in 2–3 more days" — we're there. Impact is contained to this one keyword (~10 spots); the Graz city page still owns every other Graz term.

AT — chronic Vienna cannibalization cluster (not new). "sextreffen wien" flapped 9→17; it, "sextreff wien", "private huren in wien" and "hobbynutten wien" all trade between the /at/ root and /at/sex/wien/. The root page currently holds sextreffen wien (17), sextreff wien (15), sextreffen österreich (9). This is weeks-old, low-stakes intent confusion, not today's news.

DE — "sex krefeld" resolved harmless. Dropped to 18 on 07-13 when the ranking URL swapped /sex/krefeld/ → /huren/krefeld/; today it recovered to rank 6 while staying on /huren/krefeld/. The flip cost no visibility. Downgrading from watch to harmless /sex/-vs-/huren/ flap.

AU — Warragul 404 has started biting (watch → active). "Warragul escorts" sits on stussy-babe41, a confirmed 404. It held rank 9–11 for a week on borrowed authority, then fell to OUT today. That looks like the 404 finally deindexing rather than one-day churn.

Recommendations

  1. AT "sex graz": soften the internal anchor. Trim /at/sex/lend-graz/'s Graz-wide copy and/or soften the /at/sex/graz/ → lend-graz anchor so Lend stays district-scoped and the 150-listing Graz page reclaims the head term. Low effort, ~10 spots on one keyword.
  2. 301 the two dead profile URLs — au …/stussy-babe41/ (Warragul) and it …/vera-ragazza10/ (escort policoro) to their city hubs. Warragul's fall-out today makes this timely again; free position insurance.
  3. (Low priority) Plan a durable fix for the AT root ↔ /sex/wien/ Vienna cannibalization when convenient — it's chronic and low-stakes, but a clearer canonical/anchor split would stop the sextreffen-wien flapping.

Watchlist

Mirrored into watchlist.md. Net changes: AT sex graz escalated to actionable; DE sex krefeld closed harmless; AU Warragul moved from stalled to 404-biting; IT thinness updated with today's dip; competitor-artifact case cited again (IT bakecaincontrii); BR growth still healthy.
